Journal Club
The Journal Club is a monthly event hosted online (on Zoom) by Post-docs, PhDs and MSc students from the MLN Lab. It aims to offer the researchers the opportunity to share the knowledge gained during their research journey and practice critical thinking with team members, thus providing a space that creates opportunities for personal growth and future collaborations.
During each meeting, a researcher is invited to present a Journal Article that must be relevant and consistent with the team's core research topic. Presentations (+/- 1 hour) are followed by an open discussion (+/- 1 hour), allowing the audience to ask questions, share points of view on the presented research, and provide feedback on the presenter's performance.
Can I select any Scientific paper?
We strongly recommend selecting a Journal Article and avoiding, for instance, conference papers. If you want to present Conference papers, be sure of the quality of the research and team. You can always ask for an opinion from your colleagues!
How old should the article of my choice be?
We strongly recommend you select papers not older than 2/3 years. Research goes fast, and it is more constructive to learn about the latest findings rather than discuss results (perhaps) already obsolete.
Remember!
After selecting an article, make sure to send two weeks in advance the following information to S.L.Cucinella@tudelft.nl
